Let's Talk...

Let's envision an educational system where we talk less about test scores, percentile gains, and outcome measures and more about young people - who they are, where they come from, and what they aspire to. 

Let's talk about what makes students excited about learning, and how modeling excellence and integrity in our own lives can often be the most important lesson we ever teach.  

Let's talk about what excited and inspired us and, conversely, what crippled us and scared us, in our own educations. And let's promise that we won't repeat mistakes and that we'll strive to be better. 

Let's talk about the fact that we're human and that we're bound to make mistakes. Let's talk about striving for progress, not perfection.
